The upper roller of this machine acts as the primary driving roller, boasting pre-bending and CNC rolling functionalities for sheet ends. It allows for the single-feed processing of metal sheets, enabling completion of both pre-bending and rolling without the necessity of turning the sheets around. The hydraulic motor on the upper roller features an instant brake mechanism, ensuring precise stoppage during bending and rolling. The left and right frames are securely mounted on a unified base, forming the machine's main body. The left end of the upper roller's bearing housing is fitted into the flipping bearing housing, while the right end's bearing housing is enclosed within the right frame, ensuring robust structural integrity and performance.

The upper roller in our state-of-the-art machine serves as the pivotal driving roller, seamlessly connected to the hydraulic motor via an advanced planetary gearbox. This configuration ensures that the upper roller remains stationary in position, engaging solely in rotational motion. Meanwhile, the working roller dynamically performs both rotational and vertical movements, expertly executing lifting and lowering actions.

Our machine features strategically placed oil cylinders for the lower roller and side roller within guide grooves of the left and right frames. The cylinders' reciprocating motion empowers the lower roller and side roller to move vertically along the guide grooves and achieve tilt, making it ideal for rolling conical workpieces as well as correcting and rounding them. A flipping bearing housing on the left frame, activated by the flipping oil cylinder, allows interaction with the upper roller head. Additionally, a balancing device at the tail of the upper roller ensures balance and elevation when the upper roller and tilting frame are open. The working roller's movements are precisely guided by high-quality linear slide rails.

All machine controls are intuitively centralized on the main operating console, providing seamless and efficient operation.

3.1.1 Work rollers

As one of the most critical components of a rolling machine, the quality and performance of the work rollers are paramount, directly influencing the machine's lifespan and rolling accuracy.

Our work rollers are meticulously crafted from high-strength rolling steel, undergoing rigorous processes including forging, tempering, quenching, stress relief, and precision lathe machining. These carefully orchestrated steps ensure outstanding surface contact strength, preventing impressions during steel plate rolling. The rollers are designed for long-term performance and mechanical reliability. Initial rough processing is followed by tempering to achieve a hardness of HB240~300. Subsequent precision processing involves intermediate frequency quenching, attaining a hardness of HRC45-55. Compliant with the JB/ZG4289-86 rolling steel standard, the stiffness adheres to (1/700-1/1000) L, with L representing the distance between the centerlines of the two side frames.

These bearings effectively counteract pressure from shaft misalignment during roller shaft rotation, allowing each shaft to move freely and flexibly. This design avoids scratches and cracks on the rollers. The internal structure of these bearings permits them to withstand roller shaft misalignment and tilt. When subjected to fixed outer cover forces, this foldable mobility prevents damage to the roller shaft from reverse forces.

Our self-aligning bearings offer significant advantages. Regardless of shaft deviation, the roller shaft smoothly and safely realigns, returning to its original position. Conical rolling demands stringent tolerances, requiring the roller shaft to tilt and manage unbalanced loads. These loads place significant pressure on the bearings. With self-aligning bearings, the load is directed into an axial mode, controlling the impact of folding and ensuring smooth, safe self-rotation. Our innovative design incorporates two self-aligning bearings on each roller shaft, enhanced with 'permanent lubrication technology.' This feature eliminates the need for frequent lubrication, ensuring optimal performance throughout the product's lifespan.

3.3.1Hydraulic system

Our machine system features an independent hydraulic circuit with two main functions. The primary drive section powers the upper and lower working rollers, while the auxiliary drive facilitates the lifting and lowering of the lower and side working rollers and the tilting frame flipping. Each hydraulic circuit is independently powered by a high-pressure oil pump driven by an electric motor, utilizing a superimposed valve structure. Key characteristics include:

Each hydraulic circuit's main cylinder comprises two sets of stacked components to adjust the main cylinder's movement speed, accommodating various working speeds for the side and lower rollers.

High-precision displacement sensors on the left and right frames and the tilting frame ensure synchronization accuracy of the main cylinders at both ends of each moving working roller.
